Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how we refund payments for the Vidyakrit subscription, setup fee, communication credits, and paid add-ons.

1. Free trial (14 days)

Every new school gets a 14-day free trial. No payment is collected during the trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial without any refund consideration — nothing was charged.

2. One-time setup fee (Rs 8,999)

The setup fee is charged once when you convert from trial to a paid subscription. It covers onboarding, dedicated subdomain provisioning, AutoSSL certificate, and initial data import support. Refunds apply as follows:

  • If you cancel within 7 days of paying the setup fee AND have not yet onboarded staff or imported students, the setup fee is fully refunded.
  • After 7 days OR after onboarding work has begun (staff added, students imported, subdomain live), the setup fee is non-refundable.

3. Subscription fee

Subscription fees (Basic / Premium plans) are refundable on a pro-rated basis:

  • Within 30 days of payment: pro-rated refund for unused months/days of the subscription term.
  • Beyond 30 days: no refund for the current term; you can still cancel renewal so no future payment is collected.
  • Monthly subscriptions: refund applies only to the current month if cancelled within 7 days of that month's renewal.

4. Communication credits (SMS / WhatsApp / Voice)

Communication credits are consumable digital goods and are NON-REFUNDABLE once delivered to your wallet. Unused credits do not expire and can be carried over indefinitely within your active subscription.

5. Paid add-ons

Add-ons (Bulk SMS pack, Transport, Payroll, WhatsApp, Custom Domain) follow the same pro-rated refund window as the base subscription. The DLT registration assistance fee (Rs 10,000) is non-refundable once we begin the TRAI submission process on your behalf.

6. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with:

  • Your school name + slug
  • Razorpay payment ID or invoice number
  • Reason for the refund request
  • We respond within 3 business days; approved refunds reach your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
