New session pre-flight: 30-day checklist before April 1
Indian academic sessions start in April. The 30 days before are when a smooth year is made or a chaotic one is locked in. A day-by-day countdown: promotions, fee structure, classroom assignments, books, transport routes, ID cards.

April 1 is the deadline that doesn't move. The 30 days before it are when a smooth academic year is made.
Week 1 (T-30 to T-23): Bulk promotion. Every student moves up one class; mark retentions and TC-issued students inactive. Fix the active session in your SMS so all next-year planning uses the new session ID.
Week 2 (T-22 to T-16): Fee structure for the new session. Class-wise tuition, transport, exam, lab, library — copy from current year, apply increment, save. Late-fee policy: due date per head + per-day surcharge cap. Test with one dummy student.
Week 3 (T-15 to T-9): Classroom assignments. Class teachers per section. Subject teachers per class. Timetable draft. Substitute pool ready. Books order placed for the new year.
Week 4 (T-8 to T-2): Transport route confirmation (parents validate the stop list), ID cards printed for new admissions, parent portal accounts created for new families.
T-1 (March 31): Send the welcome SMS for the new session. First-day timetable to teachers. Books distributed. Buses on the new routes.
April 1: It runs.
Doing this without a system means 30 days of WhatsApp chaos. With Vidyakrit's bulk-promote, fee-rollover, classroom view and SMS-blast tools, the same 30 days fit in 30 hours.
